Qualified Public Depositaries - Credit Unions

Credit Unions designated by the Public Deposit Protection Commission as qualified public depositaries to accept financial deposits from public entities.

PDPC Authorized Credit Unions 

*Approved under SHB 1209, Chapter 237, Laws of 2018, which expanded public depositary eligibility to credit unions allowing them to accept public deposits above federally insured limits. These credit unions can hold uninsured public deposits only from public depositors located in a county with less than 300,000 persons. Public depositaries must pledge collateral as required, follow deposit limitations, and submit timely reports.
