PDPC Rulemaking Activity (2016):
The 2016 Washington State Legislature passed ESB 6349 and SB 5265. The Office of the State Treasurer has initiated rulemaking to amend and update the requirements, terms, and conditions for financial institutions to receive and hold public deposits in accordance with the Public Deposit Protection Act, as last amended by Chapter 2, Laws of 2016, 1st special session.

LGIP Rulemaking Activity (2009):
These changes amended the procedures for the Local Government Investment Pool (LGIP) to allow the Office of the State Treasurer the flexibility to better accommodate the pool participants deposit and withdrawal requests.
