State Treasurer Duane Davidson has announced that the Office of the State Treasurer will partner with America Saves Week to promote a financial savings awareness week in Washington State.

While in office, Treasurer Davidson has been an advocate of promoting financial education through the use of programs like America Saves Week. “I believe that anyone can be financially sound and having a plan to save, whether it’s for education, retirement, or an emergency is always a great start” Davidson stated.

During America Saves Week, the Office of the State Treasurer (OST) will be using social media along with its website to promote good saving tips, guidelines and resources.

The week began with a call to save by Treasurer Davidson followed by a savings based theme each following day.
