The US Mint will be issuing a new $1 coin in 2029 honoring Washington’s rich history of American innovation and we want your ideas!

The Office of the State Treasurer (OST) is assembling an advisory committee to review concepts for Washington’s innovation coin and submit nominations to the Mint.

Below you may submit narrative concepts for review by OST and the advisory committee to help inform the selection process.

Only text-based submissions will be accepted by OST at this time. The US Mint will base visual design on narrative concept submissions from the state of Washington.
