The PDPC and Public Depositaries:
OST administers the work of the Public Deposit Protection Commission (PDPC), which is made up of the State Treasurer, the Governor, and the Lieutenant Governor. The PDPC ensures that public funds deposited in approved financial institutions are protected in the event that a financial institution becomes insolvent.

The Surplus Funds Certificate of Deposit Program puts state dollars to work for local economies.
