Ferry Refunds
Reimbursement to Pierce, Skagit, and Whatcom counties of 50 percent of the deficit incurred during each previous fiscal year in the operation and maintenance of county owned and operated ferry systems. The total amount disbursed shall not exceed $1,000,000.00 in any one biennium.
MVFT Refunds
The unused portions of amounts deducted for state supervision and studies costs, which are then reimbursed to cities and counties in proportion to the deductions made.
Parks
A sales and use tax up to 0.1 percent to be used for zoo, aquarium, and wildlife preservation and display facilities.
Zoo
A sales and use tax up to 0.1 percent to be used for zoo, aquarium, and wildlife preservation and display facilities.
Local Infrastructure Financing Tool (LIFT)
The LIFT program is available to certain local governments for financing local public improvement projects to encourage economic development. The local government may impose a local sales and use tax that is credited against the state sales and use tax.
