OLYMPIA – Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti released the following statement calling for the resignation of Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler:
“It is critical that all elected officials — especially those of us in statewide offices — serve the public in a respectful way that honors the authority provided to us by the public.”
“Those working in the Office of the Insurance Commissioner deserve a healthy workplace culture so they can best serve the public interest. I am convinced that can only now be assured with the Commissioner’s resignation and new leadership at the head of the office.”
